Description

The Heavy Hitter Stainless Top Headset Bearing Shim is a precision-machined one-piece shim built to eliminate steering play on e-motos. Designed as a direct upgrade to the standard aluminum split compression ring on MTB-style e-moto fork stems, it provides 100% bearing race contact across the entire interface. Built for riders who demand tight, consistent steering under any riding condition.

Fitment:

  • Universal

NOTE: Universal fit for most E-Motos using standard MTB fork stems (28.40mm +0.20mm) E-Moto platforms using MTB-style fork setups (Fox 40, DNM, FastAce, KKE, Rfloxa, EXT, Sirris CMX Fork, etc.)

Most split aluminum shims rely on only 2 to 3mm of contact area, leaving room for unwanted movement and uneven load distribution. The Heavy Hitter version provides 100% bearing race contact, distributing force evenly throughout the entire interface for smoother steering feedback, longer bearing life, and zero wiggle or slop even after repeated high-impact riding. Each shim is precision-machined with an air-gap tolerance for an exact fit on properly sized stems. While this makes it slightly tighter to install, it ensures perfect alignment and zero flex once seated. Designed for the OEM tapered roller bearing (part #32906), which outperforms ball-bearing upgrades that often reduce durability under load. Note: Bearing not included, for reference only.
